The dictionary meaning of Astrology is “The study of the stars and their influence on everyone’s life”

In Sanskrit language, Astrology means Jyotish.

The word Jyotish is a combination of two words – jyot and ish. Translated into English language, we will find that jyot is Light and ish is God, so jyotish is simply “The Light of God”

Through “The Light of God”, one can have the clarity with respect to one’s action in related direction to achieve success in life.

Astrology is also known as “Mother of all the Sciences”

The stars and planets have always inspired a sense of wonder. Many cultures look skyward and see the face of the divine there. There's a cosmic dance on the grand scale, and one on the intimate scale, going on for each of us. Astrology is the study of patterns and relationships -- of planets in motion, our birth chart, synastry with others, the make-up of elements -- and using that knowledge as a tool to find meaning.
